Little club of women

Little club of women

Recently life has been moving at full speed. Since moving back to school I've experienced a level of busyness and tiredness that I never believed could have been possible. Pledging a club at ACU is the most unique experience you could imagine (pledge and find out). On top of pledging being a full time student, working, and having a boyfriend (that one is still weird to me) is no easy feat. There have been some VERY low points throughout this process, but through relationships being tested and new ones formed the outcome is so sweet.

I kind of realized that I fell in love with Ko Jo Kai many years ago and didn't realize it. When I was about my sisters age (about 8, crazy right!) my family was at my grandparents house for a holiday. I was wearing a long sleeved green shirt with a pink poncho. I remember my cousin, who was currently a Kojie, saying how she liked my outfit because it was her clubs colors. Growing up I watched my cousin experience Ko Jo Kai and thought it was the coolest thing even though I had no idea what club was or meant. Now that I am a Kojie, this memory is so special to me.

It is an honor to be apart of the oldest club on campus that represents so many amazing women. It is hard for me to wrap my mind around how for the past 95 years Ko Jo Kai has been alive and thriving. More importantly I am apart of something bigger than myself and I know I am exactly where I need to be.

You're the best club Ko Jo Kai
And we love you Ko Jo Kai
